A brow lamination is a 3 or 4 (when you include a tint) step chemical process that slowly relaxes the brow hairs and makes them shapeable.

The first step is the relaxer, which slowly opens and expands the hair follicle, allowing it to rest. The second is a setting treatment that “sets” the hair in the direction that the hair has been relaxed into during the first step. The second step also bulks up & softens the hair so that it becomes thicker with each strand (fine hair loves this treatment). The third optional step involves tinting and shaping the brows. Finally, the fourth is applying a moisturizing gel to infuse your opened hair follicle with moisture and lock it in.

You must laminate the eyebrows first, wait 24 hours and then bleach or lighten them with Blonde Brow.

We recommend you laminate first, then tint. If you have already tinted a client's brows, wait 24 hours before laminating them.

To get into the specifics, the brow hairs are saturated with dye after a tint, so they contain a significant amount of hydrogen peroxide. When the Brow & Lash Perm is applied to those saturated hairs during a lamination, it reacts with them, creating an uneven corrugation.
